Open Mic In-Person
The Callicoon Branch of the Western Sullivan Public Library opens its 2026 Open Mic/Spoken Word series on a new day, the fourth Friday of the month, starting April 24th. Creative writers ages 16 and up in all genres are invited to read an original poem or short prose piece in a three minute time slot. Sign up for open mic begins at 5:45 pm, with readings between 6 and 7 pm, followed by a reading or performance by guest artists between 7 and 8 pm. Check out the WSPL online calendar each month for all our upcoming events and workshops.
