Trash Art In-Person
Join us for a Trash Art Workshop! Bring your clean, usable trash and learn how to create with what is around you. Workshop is suitable for both children and adults!
Items you bring may range from discarded fabric, paper, soda bottles, soup cans, etc. Crafting tools will be provided (scissors, tape, glue, etc) as well as several magazines, scrap fabric, and other items to create with.
About our program facilitator, A:
A, is a queer, Anishinaabe multidisciplinary artist, photographer, and educator whose work explores identity through land, community, and self. Passionate about community, A creates culturally aware spaces for educators and their students and is a champion for the presence of art in everyday life. Living in Sullivan County, they have previously hosted workshops in local schools and community spaces including bookstores and summer camps.
