Photographing Nature: The Power of Observation In-Person

You will enhance your observation skills through quick in-class assignments that will help you see beyond the obvious, allowing you to create dynamic and meaningful photographs. You will be encouraged to explore your individual style with guidance and feedback on composition and photography techniques. Familiarity with your chosen camera is important, but a professional camera is not required; smartphones are welcome!

Elisabeth Sinsabaugh is an award-winning photographer and producer who holds a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She has worked as a photo editor for several prominent print publications, including Spy Magazine, and served as the Executive Director of Photography at NBCUniversal, where she produced and art-directed publicity and advertising campaigns. Additionally, she established an in-house photography studio for Victoria's Secret Pink, where she was the lead photographer.

Her recent photography projects include "Hudson River Romance," a collection of images taken from the train window during her daily commute, and a series of still lifes featuring plant life. Currently, she lives in North Branch, NY, where she gardens with her husband and runs their unique farm stand, Libby's Garden Market.
