In this memoir writing class we'll read excerpts from popular memoirs, discuss the craft tools authors use, and write important scenes from memory using prompts to get your ink flowing. (Sharing your writing for group feedback is totally optional.)

Melisse Gelula is an award-winning writer and the founder of Memoiring, an online book club and writing community with author events and workshops. She is a grateful recipient of a 2025 NYSCA - Delaware Valley Individual Artist Fellow in Writing, an advisor to the Deep Water Literary Festival, and an active member of WSPL Friends of the Library.
