We are so excited to host Open Mic First Fridays!
All performers and poets are welcome! Share a poem, song, story, or other inspiration. 5 minute slots are limited and sign up begins at 5:45pm.

Dawn Leas is the author A Person Worth Knowing, Take Something When You Go, and I Know When to Keep Quiet. Her new full-length collection, The Sin of Being Okay, is schedule to be released in November 2025 by Kinsman Avenue Publishing. Her poetry has appeared in Antiheroine Chic, Wild Roof Journal, Novus Literary Arts Journal, New York Quarterly, The Paterson Literary Review, Literary Mama, SWWIM, and elsewhere.
She’s a writing coach, teaching artist with Arts in Education NEPA and Pennsylvania Arts in Education Program (PAEP), partner organizations of the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, and the assistant director for the Maslow Family Graduate Program in Creative Writing at Wilkes University. She’s also a proud back-of-the pack runner, new-ish hiker, salt-water lover, and mom of two grown sons
