Fall Harvest Potluck & Junior Master Gardeners Graduation Ceremony

Fall Harvest Potluck & Junior Master Gardeners Graduation Ceremony In-Person

Join the gardeners from the Tusten Heritage Community Garden and the Western Sullivan Public Library’s Junior Master Gardener program for a Potluck Lunch and garden clean-up day to mark the close of the “human” garden season, including the Annual Soup Contest & Garlic Planting sponsored by Toad Hollow Farm. Bring a dish to share and your gardening gloves for a day of community and celebration before winter arrives!

The Junior Master Gardener program is an international youth gardening program of the university cooperative Extension network. JMG engages children in novel, “hands-on” group and individual learning experiences that provide a love of gardening, develop an appreciation for the environment, and cultivate the mind.

This program consists of 8 sessions, meeting monthly at the Narrowsburg Branch. Participants will learn all about gardening, from starting seeds to harvesting. Children who attend all 8 classes with also graduate with their Junior Master Gardener Certificate!
