Pop-Art Reveal! In-Person
As a valentine to Sullivan County, large scale, super colorful "Pop-Art Selfies” will be installed to illuminate the windows of the Delaware Free Branch of the Western Sullivan Public Library on Tuesday, February 14th. 4:30- 6:30pm. Throughout 2022, community members of all ages were offered opportunities at WSPL to participate in the project inspired by Pop-Art artists like Andy Warhol and Corita Kent. Original artwork was juried by a committee and chosen for vibrant color, composition, and character. See the original artwork, meet the local artists and find out how you can "See Yourself @ the Library'' and participate in artmaking with WSPL throughout 2023. We will also reveal the new prompt for the next window installation. All ages are invited to this fun, free event. Before sunset, viewing the colorful windows is best inside; after sunset, outside. Hot cider and doughnuts will be available.
